Exclusive | The Media Center of Al-Wedad Foundation for Development

On Monday morning, 27 Muharram/14 September,  Al-Wedad Foundation for Development received Mr. Salim bin Ahmed Belfqeeh, Director-General of the Office of Foreign Ministry in Hadramout.  He was accompanied by Mr. Ahmed bin Juneid Al-Juneid, a former sub-governor of Hadramout Governorate for the Affairs of Valley and Desert,  and Mr. Abdurrahman bin Ali Belfqeeh, Head of Al-Hadramia Bookstore and Head of Tarim Center for Studies and Publishing.

The first stop was a general visit to the Foundation departments and getting acquainted  with  the most prominent developmental and charitable activities and projects that the Foundation implemented in the field of human development. Mr. Salih Al-Khatib and Abdurrahman Al-Juneid, members of the Board of the Foundation  Trustees,  accompanied the visitors during their tour of the Foundation departments. They talked with H.E Ambassador Salim bin Ahmed Belfqeeh and his guests about establishing communication between the government and the developmental institutions in our country by establishing effective partnership through implementing real development projects under general supervision of the competent authorities in the country. Another side of the effective partnership is providing the most important needs of the civil society through effective developmental and charitable programs and projects based on careful studies from reality to serve people and their public interests in their daily life, improve their income, and develop the community system in our country. The guests watched short video clips to get acquainted with the most important charitable projects, and the development and awareness programs implemented by the Foundation during the past period as well as the current and future projects that are going to be implemented soon .

At the end of the meeting, H.E. the Ambassador and his guests thanked the management of the Foundation for the warm hospitality.  He congratulated them on the official opening and  wished them success in their great humanitarian and charitable work.
